On Sunday, June 17th, The Kids of America and the U S kids Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting a Father’s Day Walk to promote veterans at their last duty station.

7:00 am registration/check-in
8:00 am walk begins
9:30 am Miramar National Cemetary for short ceremony and place roses on graves
We are remembering the men who served our country as well men general in our community.The walk begins at the UTC- Westfield Mall and ends at the Miramar National Cemetery, were a ceremony will be held and then to lay roses on the markers of the men who still serve our country eternally.
This is the seventh year hosting this event and the third walk to the Miramar National Cemetery.Our inaugural event was staged at Coronado as an outlet for military kids to be with each other on Father’s Day when their dads were deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq.
The Kids of America’s mission is bringing awareness to our youth in stewardship with the environment, and economic responsibility.Our primary funding comes from electronic e-waste collections events.Earn your keep!
