A festive celebration of stunning choral music, traditional carols and seasonal readings for the holidays to fill you with Christmas cheer in your city san diego
Event Details
San Diego chamber choir Stellarum will be presenting their annual Festival of Christmas at St James by the Sea, La Jolla.
This free concert will feature festive choral favorites including familiar classics and wonderful new interpretations of beloved sacred and secular music, joyful and thoughtful poems and readings for the Christmas season, and audience participation carols - accompanied by the newly restored organ - to get you truly in the holiday mood.
Music will include -
"What Cheer?"
"Es ist ein Ros Entsprungen"
"Bethlehem Down"
"The Angel Gabriel"
"The Holly and The Ivy"
And traditional carols including "Hark the Herald Angels Sing", "Silent Night" and more!
Tickets are free but limited. Doors will open at 6:30pm.
There will be a donation-based cash bar after the concert and we hope you join the choir and other audience members to toast the festive season together.
