"MEZCLA - Stirring It Up"
Event Details
Mezcla, five artist, five different styles, together creating a similar message. Our art depicts a variety of artistic visions revolving around Pre-Colombian, Native American, contemporary / traditional New Mexico Iconography, Chicano and Chicano low brow art. Different ingredients representing the diversity of being Chicano.
Hector Villegas, Jamie Chavez, Ricardo Islas, Sal Gonzalez, Vicente Telles make up MEZCLA.
